MGC 2006 Pt. 2
Now that you’ve seen the photos from the Midwest Gaming Classic, we’d like to share a few shots of the gathering afterwards, organized by the one and only Cap’n Rawkenschpiel.
While good drink, good food, and good company was what brought us together, the Guitar Hero tournament was the focus of the evening. The winner would receive a sack o’ fun, filled with games donated by the Cap’n, while the losers were left to cry in their gigantic, Wisconsin-sized beer mugs.

Here we see Moe dominating Hilden. The reign of terror begins. Later, we found Hilden silently weeping in the corner.

And here, Moe takes listener Jason to the cleaners. The man shows no mercy and his punishment is swift and terrible.

On the other hand, John and Savory Cade enjoyed a pleasant round, with Savory taking the victory. These two are perfect gentlemen, aren’t they? Just look at the smile on Savory's face...

...in contrast to the look of horror on Cap'n! The man is simply astounded by Moe’s devilishly quick fingers. Moe, of course, is unfazed. As the round comes to a close, and Moe walks off with Cap'n's Sack o' Fun, somewhere an angel has just lost its wings.

Meanwhile, John, Hilden, and Private Soxxrocker look on in wide wonder. How can one man, so seemingly incompetent in all other avenues of life, be so skilled in Guitar Hero?

"Huzzah!" roars the crowd, thankful that Moe’s tyrannical performance has finally come to an end. Perhaps now we can finally live in peace.
Thanks to everyone who came out to the Midwest Gaming Classic and hung out with us afterwards. It truly was an incredible weekend.
And thanks to Cap’n Rawkenschpiel for these pictures.
