Foes

There are some villians you remember with no less than the same bitterness and hatred you had when you first encountered them. So it goes with the Octupus.

For those that never had the pleasure, the Octopus is one of the bosses you have to race in that venerable classic, Diddy Kong Racing. Back when it was the bright and shining gem of our gaming existence, the Octopus held sway as the most hated gaming villian in our world.

It took Moe quite some time to beat him, as I recall, and the sheer amount of energy and hatred that went into defeating him could have gained us all two more degrees each. But that defeat will have to be told another time, in another comic. This one is all about the bitter taste of Octopus victory.

Oh, yes. He cheats. Yes, he cheats.

In other news, World of Warcraft seems to be back on the radar of all gamers "in the know". What with the webcomics onslought of the Dark Iron server, it seems to have folks back leveling their characters again. I know my Dwarven Hunter took to the hills of Azeroth again. And I thought I was done with this stuff.

I should know better.
