Team Fremont Live: After Hours #2: Wives and Lovers

Don't even try to figure out the numbering system here. What's it been now: 1, 3, 4, 2? Put it out of your mind.

Today's episode of After Hours, as the title would suggest, has to do with past relationships. However, it veers further into the story of one Aaron Hilden and his complete transformation from the day I met him up to the day he met his wife.

Hilden's a fascinating guy; incredibly talented, hilarious, and intelligent. It's been quite a trip to watch him over the past decade as he changed from a guy I didn't think I'd ever relate to, to one of my closest friends whom I couldn't live without. He's a guy who continues to amaze and surprise me practically on a daily basis, and this episode is a pretty good representation of that.

Enjoy.

John

Indulge a Dad

It's been a while since I've thrown pictures of my son in here, so let's get that out of the way.

I had a great weekend with Ethan, starting Friday when we spent the entire day together watching Mr. Rogers, reading books, and playing tickle games. He's really starting to develop a little personality and it's amazing to watch him learn and grow.

So on Friday, since it was Dad's day to hang out with him, I dressed him in his bad ass Ramones t-shirt and called him "Ethan Ramone" all day. Here he is giving me his best rock star sneer.

On Sunday, Christine and I decided - since it was forty degrees for the first time in over two months - that we would take the kid outside for his first ride in a sled. He didn't quite know what to think of it and I'm sure Mom and Dad had a better time of it than he did.

So there it is. That's enough gloating over my child for one day.
