Ninja Theory's Heavenly Sword
Ninja babe kicking ass - I'm sold
Sony and Ninja Theory have been showing off the latest build of Heavenly Sword, a Ninja/Beat'em Up for PS3, at this years E3 show. The game has been on Sony fans' lists since a tech demo was debuted during last years E3 pre show conference, showing off some truly spectacular graphics and design.

Heavenly Sword is a fast pace, high action game following in the footsteps of games like God of War and Ninja Gaiden. It tells the tale of a young Ninja girl, Nariko, who is seeking revenge for the death of her clan who were slaughtered by an invading King. She takes up the legendary Heavenly Sword and does what every good Ninja should - kicks ass in the most brutal of ways.

The game boasts some interesting features such as the ability to mold your own fighting style and a combat engine that is physics based which allows it to be scaled as the game progresses and use the surrounding environment to their advantage whilst kicking seven shades of shit out of the army of bad guys. The tech demo shown during E3 is only a small arena event in an enclosed area to demonstrate the combat system, however, we can expect to see some stunning locales in the full game when it releases.

We managed to talk about Boom Blox and R-Type Command, however. You can check it all out on this week's Team Fremont Live.
