Final Fantasy XIII announced x3
Not one FFXIII but 3... we are lucky!
The Square-Enix pre-eŁ press conference just finished up with some startling revelations in regards to the latest installment of the Final Fantasy series, XIII. The game is set to appear in three flavours, 2 of which on the PS3 and one on mobile/cell phones.
First up is Final Fantasy XIII itself, starring a fiesty leading female character sporting some nice guns. The footage shown is apparently totally in real time, which if true is an amazing feat as the game looks stunning. Here's a few screens to make you say WOW:
Then following that game is the direct sequel, Final Fantasy Versus XIII. This game is to be developed by the Kingdom Hearts team lead by Tetsuya Nomura. Apparently, Versus XIII is an action RPG and the footage shown is CGI developed by the FFVII Advent Children staff.

After a long night of podcasting, we finally got around to recording our own show. Which meant we were drunk off our asses..more than usual. We managed to talk about Boom Blox and R-Type Command, however. You can check it all out on this week's Team Fremont Live.
